Blank Canvas
Painting for my show recently on larger media was not a new thing for me, but certainly something I hadn't done in a while. I really enjoyed doing larger work, and I would love to do some canvas pieces, but I'm unsure of how I maintain the effects of watercolour and ink on the primed canvas. I'm about to have a glass of wine and make a mess on some small canvas squares, so I will be sure to share with you. In the meantime, its my pleasure to share with you some inspirational work I have been collecting on my Pinterest page.

Have you discovered Pinterest yet? If not, prepare to succumb to your new digital obsession. I spend hours on Pinterest finding and admiring helpful hints, great ideas, and a whole lot of pretty pictures to keep inspired. Its such a great way to organise your ideas, and as a teacher I find it priceless for saving lesson ideas. One of my boards is dedicated purely to the beautiful mess than art can make, the colours, splashes, drips and spills - I often admire a palette after I am finished painting and think "I should take a picture of that"! Well, it seems I'm not the only one! For more eye candy, check out my Pinterest page here.
