Everyone...deserves music...
Being a creative person, I guess it comes as no surprise that one of my biggest inspirations is music. I have so many favourites it is impossible to tell you all of them, but one thing I have found I really enjoy is drawing and painting my music idols, and I plan to do many more. Who are your music hero's? Who would you like to see me draw or paint from the music world? Leave a comment here or on my facebook page to let me know, and watch this space to see if your favourite turns up!

New RAW Artist!!
Aaaaah! Big news! I have been lucky enough to be chosen for the very first RAW artists event at the Roxy Theatre in Sydney in November! I was contacted last week and had never heard anything about the organization, so I was skeptical. As soon as a did a little research however, I was sold! The company started in the US, and it represents not just Visual Artists, but creatives of all kinds.
(from the website):
"We're an international community made up of creative individuals across the globe.
Our mission is to provide independent artists within the first 10 years of their career with the tools, resources and exposure needed to inspire and cultivate creativity.
We welcome all genres of art including independent film, fashion, music, visual art, performing art, hairstylists, makeup artists and more.
We encourage the creative success of the many visionaries and storytellers of our generation.
RAW currently operates in nearly 60 cities across the United States, Australia, Canada and, now London!"
The event I am involved with is a full night party featuring artists of all sorts, music, dj's, fashion and heaps more. Tix are $15 and you will be supporting me and my work which will be showcased both at the event and online. Check out the website and get on it! ♥♥♥

See ya Shooting Lines, its been real.
Well its the last day of my show 'Shooting Lines' today, and my last time in the Forsight gallery (for now!). I am so glad to have finally showed this work, I have been attached to it for so long and it feels good to have let go and move on. I have to pay special thanks to those involved in the whole project, especially my models Marc Davies, Conner West, Samantha 'Blondtron' Mathews, Phillipa Voller, and Lauren Skogstad. You were all amazing and I couldn't have done it without you! If you haven't seen it, go to my website here to take a peak.

Friday night wild times
Oh the life of a single lady on a Friday night. I probably should be out and about, looking for love, discussing fabulous things over fabulous cocktails, but no, alas, I have an exhibition to get together! Admittedly, I actually do love a good painting session over a glass of red and some good tunes, even if it is solo....on a Friday night.....sigh! Happy Friday peoples x

Gestural Action
More studies! As an illustrator it is so hard to let go of the control that makes your work illustration and let it evolve on its own. I guess thats where I draw the art/illustration line (got pun!?!), when Im no longer striving for perfection...though I am happy with the results :)

Of late..
Wow, its been a while! Lots has happened in my world, and Im loving every down as much as every up!
Back in May, I had a solo show at Blank Space Gallery in Surry Hills called 'The Young Ones'. It was a series of 12 limited edition prints, all based on pop culture.
I was due to hold another solo show - 'Shooting Lines' - two weeks later in Gosford, however due to circumstances out of my hands, I unfortunately had to cancel. I will still be showing the 'Shooting Lines' show though, so watch this space!
Im currently working on an exciting new fashion project with my super talented best friend Jess Chapman, and re-branding my business image in preparation for some brand new directions - very exciting!
Here are some photos from 'The Young Ones', to see the full series go to my website, or to purchase, my Etsy store. And if you havent already, please pop over to my facebook page to keep up to date with all the latest, including comps and give-aways!
